Merlin mag is the first edition of a skate magazine I created at Bristol School of Art. It was my first experience using digital and handmade techniques to create. With this project, I wanted to capture the sprit of skateboarding I have personally experienced, growing up in the south west of England. Skate culture is rife in Bristol, so I decided to include skaters and skate spots from there, aswell as conducting 2 interviews with local skateboarders from rural areas in somerset. I took inspiration from other local skate mags, such as Vague, Grey as well as Thrasher.
